First. look how cool the box is!

Each box comes with a menu like book, with information on all product for that subscription, contest entries, and information on Tokyo Japan.
This is a great box for children to get to learn and taste things from Tokyo.
Now lets eat!

First up: Tohato Caramel Corn, Peach flavoured Hinamatsuri. Savoury popped corn, combined with peach flavour to give an airy and sweet experience with a burst of fruit. - Tokyo Treat Snack Book.

Here we go :)

It smelt delicious, a nice peachy sweet candy smell.

Not sure how I felt about the texture and the taste together........

A very accurate representation on how I felt about this snack. Picture the texture and crunch of a regular cheesy, now mix it with a peach powdery flavour. When I first put it in my mouth i took one bite and it dissolved right away, so it was a one bite snack, and then the flavour hits hard after, strong peach after taste. And it confused me as Caramel Corn in North America is popcorn covered in caramel sauce, and this was a peach cheesy. Not for me BUT someone else may love it.

Next: Punifua's It's Hard Not to Be Happy with Old-Grape Taste Gummies. An adorable paw shaped gummy, with grape flavour. Pretty self explanatory with that name I guess.......

Still recovering from the caramel corn I was a little nervous to try this cat paw print gummy.

No turning back now ...

I loved it! I do love gummy candies so this was a good one in my books. It did have the "old-grape" taste, meaning the grape was very strong, but delicious. It was a small pack so you can indulge without feeling guilty. Will be buying these again for sure!

Next Hello Kitty Strawberry Biscuit Stick. Rich strawberry frosting topped upon crisp and delicate biscuit stick in an adorable Hello Kitty package. - Tokyo Treat Snack Book

Sadly I am allergic to strawberries and I could not taste test this item, but the description sounded good, and I got my best friend and photographer Stephanie to taste it for me.

"They taste like strawberry pocky, but with a more cookie flavour." - Stephanie
Thank you Stephanie for that very through description! Ha ha I know what pocky tastes like so I can imagine the flavour and do suggest this snack to others who like an on the go sweet treat or like Hello Kitty.

Next Strawberry Wheat Chocolate. Delicious nuggets of candy, puffed and crispy wheat biscuit drop dipped in decadent strawberry for a sweet treat. - Tokyo Treat Snack Book

Once again, being allergic to strawberries I could not taste this one. But when Stephanie tried it, she had a hard time describing it as the texture and taste and flavour were odd.

They did smell good though, and I would say give it a try for yourself and see. Not everything that I (or we in this case) don't like does not mean you won't love it!

LAST but not least: Barbecue Flavoured Scones. Enjoy a bold and smokey barbecue taste paired with a crisp and crunchy breadstick for ultimate treat.- Tokyo Treat Snack Book

This one smelt amazing, almost like sweet barbecue chips. It had the texture like crunchy cheesies. I know I keep comparing to cheesy but it is the only other snack with that texture.

To my surprise this was my FAVOURITE snack in the box, it was just like eating barbecue flavoured cheesies, and let me tell you, we finished the bag shortly after we opened it.

Pure joy and snack heaven. Believe me when I say, I cannot find this snack anywhere. I have looked in many Japanese stores in my area (Toronto) and can't find it! I am craving it all the time and don't know what to do, my next option is ordering a case online, its the only way! HELP!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................

For my first Tokyo Treat box I was impressed with the size, the price and free shipping. The snack were full sized and although I could not eat 2 of the snack and didn't like the third I will be ordering again and maybe a bigger size as this was a great time being able to taste new snack I may have never had the opportunity to do so!
Tokyo Treat is also very social. always encouraging you to use the #tokyotreat hashtag, and they add costumers photos to their website, and snack book!

Thank you Tokyo Treat! I can't wait to try the new snacks!
